I recently had someone tell me that she only wipes babies when they poop. She doesn't have kids, but works at a daycare eye and said most of the ladies there do it that way.

Um, what? I wipe myself every time I use the restroom and then why wouldn't I do the same for my babe? I ever wipe my daughter when I modify her diaper. I'grand not the only one who does this, right?

It depends on the situation. I didn't wipe my boys with every moisture diaper. I'm not sure what the situation is with infant girls... guess I better follow this thread, lol.

Ive heard of people not wiping boys everytime merely girls?!?! That's just request for an infection.
I wiped my son subsequently every pee and poo. The pee soaks up in the diaper which sits against the skin, plus sweat and what not. But feels fresher to wipe each fourth dimension!

Seems like information technology could cause some bad rashes, there volition notwithstanding be urine on the skin.

ETA: A baby boy's scrotum and penis can be irritated by urine just as a girl's vulva tin. Boy's genitals are sensitive to urine too, its not made out of tougher peel or anything. If you don't wipe your babe and remember urine left on peel isn't a big deal I assume you lot don't wipe yourself either. I also assume y'all don't know much about the human body. Ya'll are nasty.
I but don't wipe if for some reason the wipes aren't in that location when I'm doing the diaper change. Information technology seems unhygienic and risky infection-wise non to.
